Metafit is a 30 minute, non choreographed bodyweight workout. The class uses complex (think whole body) movements, alternating between intense work and rest periods. Simple and effective, Metafit is good for anyone from seasoned athletes to newcomers as all moves have modifications for individual needs. This class is challenging and doesn't require a huge time commitment. And its FUN! All you need is a mat and water.

Open Level Contemporary Dance with Alex

Mondays at 7:00-8:00 p.m.

Open to all levels of dance experience, this class is for anyone with a body that wants to move! We will explore our natural movement, push our boundaries, and find the joy of our own groove. Experienced dancers and beginners alike can investigate sensations, discover possibilities, and undo blocks in the body. Class begins with a guided improvisation including a short sequence of yoga and conditioning exercises. We then use compositional and across-the-floor tasks to prepare us for learning a short phrase of choreography that facilitates freedom, joy, and groove within the structure.
